Only 38% of utah firms with less than 50 employees offer health insurance to their employees. More than 100,000 of the uninsured in utah work for small businesses.
Regardless, of whether or not your small business provides insurance, it is critical that your employees know what options they have to find the best and most affordable care possible. Below are links to several resources for you and your employees.

Utah Health Exchange:
The Utah Health Exchange is the state's official hub for all your health insurance needs.
- Individuals and Families: Use the exchange to find the individual or family plan that fits your needs. Compare features, prices, and apply for coverage all in one place.
- Employers: Use the Exchange to set up a "defined contribution plan" where small business employees get multiple plan choices and the employer gets cost predictability and greatly simplified benefits management.
- Employees: If you work for a participating employer, you can use the exchange to choose form a variety of plan options to get coverage tailored to you and then enroll online.
- Producers/ Brokers: The exchange can offer comprehensive plan choices to your clietns and their employees. Use defined contribution plans to expand your clients' benefits options and your business.

You and your family have access to a FREE Discount Prescription Drug Card program. This program has a lowest price feature that provides cardholders the lowest plan price on prescriptions at participating pharmacies and is accepted at over 50,000 pharmacies around the country.Individuals may create as many cards as needed and each card is pre-activated and can be used immediately.
